New Audit Trail Rule: 2021

You might be aware of the notification issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) stating that from the 1^st of April 2021, it is mandatory to use accounting software that has a feature for recording audit trail of each transaction, creating edit log of each change made in books of accounts along with the date when such changes were made and ensuring that the audit trail cannot be disabled.
